Year 5 and Sixth Form students choose from a wide range of activities. Students are encouraged to participate in areas that complement and further develop their other interests in school thus providing them with a core set of values, interests and skills.
Two of the most rewarding opportunities are the Sports Leadership Award and Primary Placement. Here Sixth Formers get the opportunity to go in to local primary schools to lead games sessions, take clubs or help with a wide variety of lessons including languages, reading and mathematics.
Many student take the opportunity to participate in the community service program during the activities sessions providing support for the elderly, working in charity shops and on conservation projects. The music department also produce small concerts for local nursing homes and primary schools.
